Can The Americans Get Taller?

It seems that Americans should start looking into a way to get taller, studies that were carried out over the last century seem to show that they may have reached they perfect height. Studies througout the 20th century showed that on average children tended to grow at least an inch taller than they’re parents. But recently this trend has appeared to change.

These days the average height of an american female is 5"4 and teh males 5"9. The way we lead our lives is believed to be one of the greatest reasons this is happening, the fact that as adolescants we suffer fewer stresses and are exposed to enough of the required nutritional resources required for growth. A significant factor could be the high availability of the required nutrients and the fewer diseases suffered, that hinder growth, therefore enabling them to achieve they’re optimal height.

Growth has not stopped altogether, there are still areas that show signs but it does seem to have stabalised on a national level. It has been proved through studies during the 20th century that height gain is very much reliant on on a persons nutrition and enviroment. The findings were overwhelmingly convincing and showed that children who received proper nutrition during they’re youth grew and developed and were more likely to get taller and become more successfull than those less lucky.
